Would advise 2 things as I too had payday loans from 8-9 years ago
1) are they still on credit file as they should be off file now as they only go on for 6 years
2) it’s very much worth putting a claim in, I claimed for my loans from 7-8 years ago, had general email from lender rejecting claim as too long ago, took it to fos and they agreed I had a case and they should refund the charges plus interest at 8% per year, I then had an offer from the lender for £1,143.780
