Plenty of good monitors available and some are even free but its the test strips that cost the money so that is what you need to price rather than the monitor.

Sadly test strips will not work with other brands monitor.

Trueyou is the monitor that my health board has just switched to as it had the best deal on price of test strips.

Hello, One of the best ones pricewise and with reasonably priced strips is Accu Chek Performa Nano, it is one of the cheaper ones but is great, and the size is small. Both my husband and daughter use it. You can purchase them on Ebay.
