Thank you all for your help. You've been clear and concise which is great and made it easy for me to break it down to explain to them and what to speak to a solicitor about.
It wasn't a straightforward normal will to the spouse but knowing it can be sorted is good and reassuring.
Focus on the moving forward all clear of what is happening.
