Financial Ombudsman Adjudicator - how long do they normally take

Hi all
So i've finally had my irresponsible lending complaint against Amigo Loans passed to an adjudicator. Complained November 18 so just the 9 months. I know they have loads of them so that's why it's been taking so long. The ombudsman has been siding with the complainant in over 83 percent of cases so worth getting your complaints in.
I was just looking to see other people's past experiences of how long adjudicators take to look at the complaint before they give a decision(for people who have complained against amigo or pay day lenders)
just curious of how much longer i'll be waiting.
Cheers

I have a complaint open with QuickQuid at the moment. I sent it to the FOS in 2017 and this was finally assigned to an adjudicator in April. Didn't hear anything until June when they upheld my complaint but QQ rejected this so a final decision is being made but I've been told this can take months. I wouldn't rely on the money if I were you. It's a very long process and it seems impossible to get a simple update from the FOS.0

The Financial Ombusman Service isn't what it used to be, just reminds me of a badly run call centre with people answering the phones unable to listen. Start and end of call was twice asked my reference number as proof of their paying lip service. It was complete and utter disbelief that a business should respond in 8 weeks.
Tried to open my case up again against a debt collector, after receiving a reply from the actual FOS that my case was considered closed, they are adamant it was never really shut and the guy that answered the phone just wanted to bat it back to the poor soul who answered the phone initially. What a carry on. There is definitely an I in team there.
It's as frustrating dealing with the FOS as the organisation you are having trouble with. Just want to get near a brick wall.0 -
ok great, not really relevant to my question though is it?0

Are you quite certain that FOS has sided with the complainant in 83% of cases? Isn't it the other way around? SnowTiger's input to your other thread suggests that Amigo is winning 83% of the time.0

Not true...it's the exact opposite only 17% have been upheld.0
