hi there everyone, was reading a local newspaper saying how disgusting these lenders who knock on people's door and offer loans, how they ruined their lives and make them suffer from debtors collecting debts.
sure they have a right to say no if they know they cant pay back, if they cant pay back, dont take the offers, lenders dont simply hand over the cash, borrowers normally go through a application process and sure they have time to rethink and rethink again. once they took the money, they took the responsibility to pay back.
im not originally from this county, but i live here long enough to see all these newspaper headlines appear too often that people complain and complain again about these borrowers. if i take a loan, credit card, spend it, cant pay back the lenders, who to blame???

unfortunately some people are cajoled into signing forms, dont know their rights, and pressured even to get the salesperson out of their house. Some elderly people are victims of these types of companies - if it was a legitimate business practice it would be reasonably successful. It would therefore rely on advertising, word of mouth and searches in the yellow pages and the internet. Coldcalling highpressure sales techniques not fully explaining the debt is a disgrace and companies should be fined by the FSA for such practices.0

It's always easier to blame someone rather than for people to accept responsibility for their own actions.Happy chappy0

Unfortunately this is one of those things that has to be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
On one side, you can claim the borrower is to blame for borrowing the money. But without knowledge of how the deal was made - and what promises and lies were made, then that's too simple and frankly lazy."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

My nan was given a vanquis credit card and a hidious rate loan, she was told she was signing for a deposit for a kitchen (to hold a low price) which she'd be invoiced for later.
I totally blame the sales people for exploiting her and it happens a lot.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
