House and Bankruptcy

Ok so I have posted on here previously but not regarding this question so just hoping for some advice.
My ex-wife has gone bankrupt due to huge gambling debts of over £110k. We have a joint mortgage and also a 2nd charge loan. I love out and am now renting, however the ex hasn’t been paying the secured loan so I’m moving back in and paying off the arrears and she is moving out. We have a son who is 9.
I’ve looked online and it says that you can delay the sale of the property for upto a year from her date of bankruptcy but it states if you are living with the bankrupt. I just want to know whether if I live at the property whether I can still delay the sale (if it comes to it) I’m heartbroken that my son is going to lose his house due to her addiction, she didn’t even consult me about it.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

Was this advice not helpful?
I know the emotional side of this is horrific, as it's a shock and you are angry, but you really need to deal with the practical side right now and get some legal advice, or see if you can raise the capital to buy your wife's interest.Save £12k in 2025 #33 £2531.77/£5000 (If this carries on I might have to up my target!)
