Hi, wonder if anyone can help.
I'm just doing my tax return for 2018/19. In April 2018, I took a redundancy settlement over the £30k tax free limit.
My question - on the tax return, do I detail this under "Employment" or just under "Other UK income / Employment lump sums"?
Many thanks

Thanks - I saw that link and thats where the confusion started.
The advice states that employment income from P60 should be included but also the redundancy payment set out as additional income. The comment is made that a deduction should be made to avoid double counting.
So do I solely put the redundancy payment (being the only income from that employer during the particular year) in the ‘additional income’ Section?0 -
You'll need to use the additional information pages. The HMRC notes for the additional pages - https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/795245/Additional_information_notes__2019_.pdf0
