Ooooh where to start!
Ristorante Bari in (The) Shambles for Italian
Mana , St. Sampsons Square for Greek
The Go Down, Clifford Street for English (not sure f they open at lunchtime though)
Siam House, Goodramgate for Thai
Bettys, St. Helen's Square - probably the most upmarket, but I haven't tried it personally
Any preferences?:wave:0 -
Or there is Oscars which has really nice food and a good atmosphere esp at xmas time...more of a wine/bistro place all age groupsThese are the Good 'ol Days just wait and see!0

Was that Bradford/Bardford?
The restaurants I've suggested are tried and tested (except Bettys), there are more upmarket places in York I'm sure but the above all serve very good food.
This park and ride map will help you see whereabouts places are and which park to use (Askham bar or a little further up the A64 for Grimston Bar, either would do you if you're coming from Bradford).
