I went BR in April 07 and at the beg of November I received letter saying I had been discharged, as well as receiving this letter I had just started a part time so I rang my OR and she said I dont need to fill in a IPC as Im discharged but i have never completed one of these even before discharged ??? I have not worked for 8 months so Ive had no income at all.
Ive also received a letter to say I have a trustee who will deal with the BR now is his normal ? Also in the letter from the trustee it only listed my credit card number no other account details ? Im really worrying now

Hi inamess,
If the O.R hasn't got an IPA in place before you're discharged they can't do it retrospectively, so even though you're now working it's too late for them to assess you for an IPA. You wouldn't have completed one before because benefits are not usually classed as income; it seems as though your timing was spot on.:D
A trustee is generally, but not always, appointed if there are any assets left to dispose of, such as a house, or any other unresolved matters. As for only one accountbeing listed in the letter, then query that with your trustee. It doesn't matter thogh because your bankruptcy covers all debts regardless of whether they were included in your initial SOA.

Richard is absolutely correct, iam. Provided you were not in an IPA/IPO on the date of your discharge, whether full-term or early, then no IPA/IPO will be imposed and you need, no longer, inform the OR/Trustee of any change in circumstances.
I received an early discharge, without an IPA/IPO, but I am still answering to my Trustee in regard to my BI in the family home - this could go on for years.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

thanks rog2 and richard _s yep I had assets frm a house sale which is in an ac i declared and also some shares I didnt knw i had but I have told OR last week. I was also wondering my OH lost his job and I had majority of household bills and whole mortgage so i was drawing my visa to cover all these outgoings, the house was in process of being sold and we just split the money made and therefore thats my assett in the account will they frown upon this ? My partner was due to start work but it fell through so we thought I would only be covering the household outgoings very short term. thanks gain0
