I saw some brown trees in B&Q today, can't remember the size though, sorry bout that :D

Thanks Tru. I had a look on the website at them and funnily enough they are out of stock in my "local" stores - the closest local store is 102 miles round trip and I can't buy it online! The nearest "local" store to me is 160 miles round trip and nearly 4 hours drive time (terrible road)!!!! I just wish I could guarantee there actually being one in stock when I get there!

Have found one on ebay that I quite like - just need to get OH to agree to it now!

JTF wholesalers sell them although you need to have a card
  • Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I finally got a 4ft brown tree from ebay for £31 including P&P, just waiting on it arriving now. I got the measuring tape out and a 5ft tree would have fitted in the space but I would never have got my fairy on the top!!!

  • Lol. thanks. Hopefully with it being up on the sideboard they wont pay any attention to it. I remember a couple of years ago we had one on a table near the stairs in the old house (only had Arnie at the time). We thought all was ok until one night he went up the stairs to sleep - and then we found him sitting on the stairs, hidden by the tree, trying to eat the branches that were poking through the rails!!!!
He couldn't seem to grasp the fact that the tree was not real......yes I do have the world's original vegetarian dogs who like nothing more than to eat a plant/tree/flower etc etc!!!

Funnily enough I spotted the brown/chocolate trees in B&Q yesterday too. They are fibre optic, 5ft I think. And they look great.

They also have these, non fibre optic, 6ft chocolate trees.
