9 months to go - finally!

Been a long time lurker on here. Got myself into some money problems in my younger days and have been paying for it since BUT the end is near. In 9 months time I’ll be debt free and I’ll finally be rid of the biggest debt burden - my Amigo loan.
Unfortunately due to bad credit I turned to them in my hour of need and then topped up my loan (I know I know) to keep other wolves from the door. In hindsight I wish I just let the wolves in as would have been rid a lot sooner and probably would have cost me less in the long run.
Debt can be a lonely journey (I’ve been on mine for 10 years and was almost on the brink of bankruptcy) and though I don’t post much, if I’m feeling the struggle or low I come on here and realise i’m not alone - I like to read other people’s journeys and take inspiration from them. I’ve hid debts from OH but eventually came clean and the moment I did it was like a great weight had been lifted and I felt I could sleep better. After next year and all the debts are gone, I don’t plan to get into debt ever again (who does?)
I’m relieved there will soon be an end to it all and for those just starting their debt free journey don’t give up. There is a light at the end and your not alone :-)
