Bills are rarely unexpected. Most are predictable. Those few that are genuinely unexpected should be funded by your emergency find, which should be put aside as a priority to your holidays.
How much have you actually got saved? Six months of savings would clear your debt.

They are not unexpected. fridge-freezers do not last for ever, they fail. The fact that you cannot predict when does not make it an unexpected event. It is a predictable event and the very thing that an emergency fund is there to cover. Similar applies for your car.0 -
In terms of what you need to do:
1. Trasnfer the card to another 0% card if your credit score allows.
2. Start paying off at least 200% more than then minimum payment is asking for
3. Set yourself a 6 monthly reduction goal.
That is how I paid off mine.Things are far easier than you think.0 -
