Awaiting CCA- Link response

Hi, we’ve got a CCA request in for three accounts with LINK.
One they have sent partial info and awaiting the rest.
Two we have not had any response from them to the initial request, nor the follow up a few months later offering a low settlement. But now we have had a ‘you’ve not paid anything so therefore you now need to pay in full’ type letter (haven’t got it to hand for exact wording.
We ignored that letter as they know we have a CCA request in. No further letters but daily automated voicemails, text and email asking to contact but not giving any particular reason.
Do I just carry on ignoring or would now be a good time to write a follow up saying ‘we have a CCA request in, please either respond to our offer or stop contacting us to this extent’.
Any advice?
Thanks

Found the letter for wording
‘According to our records you have failed to comply with the default notice served to you..... therefore we hereby give you notice and demand that if you fail to pay the arrears stayed above within 7 days the agreement will be terminated and the full balance on the account will become payable immediately’
Assuming this is scare tactics? Am I best to ignore or send a letter (won’t soeak on the phone) stating they need to respond to the CCA request/accept our offer and until they do so we will not be paying and would appreciate if they didn’t harass us given this.0 -
I would ignore it personally. They are just chancing their arm. They are well within their rights to ask for the money even if the account is unenforceable. It is just that they cannot seek enforcement via a court. Therefore I'd ignore it...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

I have to say that LINK were the worst when it came to communicating about my CCA requests (I then had 3 accounts with them). They never acknowledged any of the requests and finally sent the paperwork (which proved to be legit and enforceable) around 6 months from the date the CCA request was sent.
During that time I also got similar letters, but they are just computer generated garbage and therefore I'd do as W2L suggests and ignore it/them. The only letter to take notice off is if you get a 'letter before action' which would indicate their intent to escalate matters.
In my opinion, one I hold as a result of personal experience, is that LINK are a complete shambles and it's definitely a case of the 'left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing' when dealing with them.0 -

Hi,
This is a default notice, I`m now a tad confused.
This suggests the account has not defaulted, is that the case ?
Did Link buy this account as a going concern ?

It’s been with LINK for a while (maybe 2yrs) from Barclaycard. I think this is the only one not to have been given a default when it was sold to Link for some reason, I need to look back and work out why. Asking them to backdate the default is another job I need to do but I guess I was just hoping to get them paid off and it wouldn’t matter so much.0 -
I think you'll find that if you are trying to do an F&F based on the outcome of the CCA, then its inevitable they will now apply a default. The same happened to me on two BC/LINK debts. The main thing is to ensure they backdate the default. They did mine, so hopefully will play ball with you.0

Thanks. Would it be Link who backdate it or the original Redditor we defaulted with? (Barclaycard)0 -
Hi did you find the answer to this?
"Thanks. Would it be Link who backdate it or the original Redditor we defaulted with? (Barclaycard)"
I noticed a new "default" from Link starting from when they took over but no mention of previous owner (B.C) with defaults.0
