Bankruptcy and OR documents needed?

Hi
Currently I have debts of around 50k (some personal loans and CC). Majority of this being gambling debts.
I left the UK around (20 months ago) to break free to gambling in the uk and continued to pay the loan payments and min pay on the CC. However, my circumstances has changed in the last few months having been made redundant and struggling to continue paying.
I'm considering bankruptcy at the moment and would like to know what documents the OR will be asking for? (eg. bank statements for how many month will they check?)
I'm worried sick about this process.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
James

Are you living in the EU? If so, the window for you to go bankrupt in the UK shut after 3 months (if you had a business) or 6 months (if you didn't). You've been away 20 months.
If out of the EU, you should be alright. See https://debtcamel.co.uk/bankrupt-england-from-abroad/
I think they usually ask for 2 years' worth of statements, although in my case they didn't ask for any (either couldn't be bothered, or got them straight from the bank). If you're abroad I expect they will ask for them, otherwise you could be sitting on piles of cash for all they know!0 -
I'v just been asked to supply 12 months0

As terrance45 says - you need to check if you are eligible to go BR in the UK after being away for so long.
And if you are in the EU - and the UK isn't - it could all change very soon anyway...
the OR generally seems to ask for between 12 and 24 months worth of documents - but they can go back further if they want and can get all the info they need directly from the bank.0
