    After my Br. 2013 I had to open a basic cash minder account with co op bank, still is in use, however I have managed to open new savings and current account 2 years ago with same bank...

    A. Im not sure if it would be better to closing down my cash minder or not, as I wanted to start looking for mortgage, is not a question for lenders my cash minder account .

  • If you're not using it, it doesn't do any harm to close a current account. I'm not sure if a mortgage lender would care, as I'm sure they'd know you were BR anyway.
