Im back after a six month break

So I comped religiously for years, it got to March and I hadn't won anything for over a year, so I closed the laptop and took off 6 months, have things changed for people? is it still as difficult as ever to win? I watch these 'unboxing' videos on youtube and even the serious compers aren't winning anything amazing any more x

I'm not winning anywhere near as much as I used to, but then, I'm entering less comps these days. I think it's worth it, because it's still nice to be in with a chance to win something lovely. And just occasionally, I still do.

Unfortunately I don't think things have changed from 6 months ago, I know I'm winning less than I was then. I always like to look in the I won, I won, I won, forum section to keep me going and to see what people are winning. I pay particular attention to the monthly thread in that section and August seemed to be a dire month for many.

I really enjoy joining in with the Compers Challenge each year, it keeps me going for the fun of comping as well as having a laugh and the potential of winning things.

Personally I focus more on the competitions that you can only enter once, that way I feel it is fairer as everyone has equal chance.
