Solar edge portal inconsistent reading

Solar edge website is showing my Aug generation as 486kwh in the top graph...and 517kwh on the year by month lower graph. How can I find out which is correct and has anyone else had this before?

Hi Michaels, August showed differences in my charts also, around 16 KWh's. In addition the 3rd day of the month showed zero generation on mine, which has not occurred previously and was obviously incorrect!

There is about 15kWh difference between our readings for August.

The yearly graph shows a bit more than the monthly graphs.

The SolarEdge site has been up the creek several times last month. There have been days when it showed no output until late in the evening and then appeared to correct the figures. There is a discrepancy of about 25kWh in my monthly figures between the two graphs. Only the TGM can be relied upon for last month.

So looking at the Export meter it seems the monthly total is closer than the month value for the annual graph - which will be annoying in years to come remembering that the August record is not actually 517kwh (which would have been the 4th best month ever)

Seeing exactly the same thing although just checked my Aug reading and it’s gone from its erroneous figure (546) to a more credible 520. Now I just wish they could tweak out the 3% difference between it and the TGM (SE reads 3% high). Saying that, I remember an email exchange with SE support and I think they said they could perform such a tweak but I vaguely remember there was a downside to them doing it so I never did bother - I have no memory of what that downside could possibly have been though!

Yes, I think some tweaking must have taken place as my August figure was originally recorded as 1235 but is now showing 1163. Checking out the TGM it actually recorded 1183 for the month. Mind you, Zero energy was recorded by SolarEdge for Saturday 3rd!
As per your experience, SE read 3% higher than our export Meter. It will be interesting to see whether the adjustment that's taken place makes any inroads into this.

I take my figures from the TGM, but I noticed through most of August that when I clicked on the inverter display to see generation so far that day, the monthly total was a double digit negative!!

I tend to play with the screen, whilst 'using the facilities' in the downstairs toilet ....... too much info?

SE reading for today 31.72, TGM reading 30.73. So in spite of the adjustments exercised it would appear that SE still records figures 3.22% higher than the TGM!
