Not joined one of these threads before but here goes!
Had to give No1 son £2.50 for lunch and a pencil (!!) and spent £2.30 on filled oatcakes (a Friday work day essential in Stoke!).
Also need stamps (but these are for 3 letters cancelling high interest credit accounts which I have paid off - hurrah!!!) and have to send E-bay sale off too. Had the oney for that though.
Aiming for very low spend weekend. This will be my first so wish me luck.
STAY AWAY FROM THE SHOPS!
Have a great day everyone.

Hi bobbadog, PaP and all :hello: :hello:
Well - it has finally arrived - my first payday. :T :T
I'm still waiting, though, to see if my wages have reached the bank, but should know by this afternoon.
So - tonight is my (not very DFW) Chinese treat - should be about £10.00.
No other spends planned though.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

It ended up costing £2.55 for 6pts milk and a loaf of bread.
I even came home and put the bread in the other wrapper so DH thinks we have kingsmill.
I forget how much things have gone up until I have to go and do a 2 item shop. Hi everyone.
I've been very lazy in posting on this thread - and in fact did not put my weekly budget up on Sunday - but I must get back into the habit - as not doing it has seen my daily spends rise above what I want them to be.
So today has been :
40p (paper)
£1.59 (shampoo)
£5.20 (train ticket)
No more to spend today[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0 -

Hi, all. It'll be a nsd for me, in fact I think I'm in credit today, because I just phoned Asda to complain about the marinated salmon I bought from them, it wasn't very nice. It's the first time I've actually used their try me you'll love me refund guarantee. The woman apologised, said that she would send me a full refund for the 2packets that I had bought = a little goodwill payment, now that's not bad, seeing as I bought them rdc for 10p each and the original price was £3.98 each. I did feel a little bit bad, but I can live with that.
Rog, I hope your wages do get paid in today and you enjoy your chinese, whetever you decide to have. You've deserved it, I haven't read all of your postings this week, but I think I've read enough to know that you've found it hard.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0 -
Hi Guys!
OH went to Asda earlier and spent £55:eek:    ...this is accounted for though and he bought alot of items to put away for Xmas.....2 big tins of chocs, 12 huge bottles of Magners, posh nuts/crisps, J20's for DD and other stuff we needed but so far £120 under food budget and only 2 weeks remianing so not bad.
He also got 3 boxes of Tesco DW tablets from the 99p store for 32 in each....so really only £2.97 in total.
Also sold a few items on ebay, so heavily in profit.
