How long after cleaning debt

Hello,
I was wondering how long it takes before you apply for a mortgage after clearing all debts? Do you have to wait x amount of time before it’s updated on your credit file?
Thank you

The updates to Credit Reports can take a few months in some occasions.
If you review all 3 files, you should see the last update date for each account, in my case, my accounts were updated around these dates. If not, chase the creditor.
It would be best to wait for them to clear on your reports before applying for a Mortgage, it'll make life much easier!
I assume no defaults or CCJ's?0 -
I had 1 CCj and 1 default but they were years ago now0

Keep in mind your credit file is your last six years history0 -
It was 2013 when I had those 🙂0

Great what exact dates? The default should drop off after 6 years from the default date.
Besides, even more important to clear your debt before applying, see a broker!0
