Regarding savings Hannah, my account no. and transactions all matched but still wanted letter/ statement with my name and address on.

Hi Jane,
Thanks for getting back to me, the amount of your purchase and there questioning 2k is ridiculous but it might just be to make sure it wasn’t gifted as that requires more paperwork

I took it upon myself to go and get the letter from nationwide and email it to MA they had already finished up for weekend though but at least if Aldermore come back the letter is already there waiting so fingers crossed can’t see them possibly wanting anything else

They’ve got all the proof they need and my husband has got the hump and wants to go with another lender, he said he would rather walk away now before they refuse us.
Hopefully hear something Monday.

Hi Jane,
I was very hopeful I would have an update today but after getting impatient and emailing mortgage advisor they said I probably won’t hear anything until Friday which I’m annoyed about because Aldermore supposedly take 3 days to work through documents last week I was told Monday I would have an update 🙁

My husband is also getting annoyed so I hope we both get good news this week

Well today Hannah my husband(at half 4) got a phone call to arrange a valuation..... they rang him instead of vendor!! He told them to ring estate agent.
Spoke to MA and he said contact estate agent which I did and they confirmed they were waiting on vendor to confirm valuation date as she’s been in hospital.
He said this was a good sign. I asked if Aldermore would need anymore info and he said no.
He’s going to ring Aldermore tomorrow.
I’m still apprehensive.
Hope you hear something tomorrow.

Hi Jane,
Our update was last week that because I had used safetycredit as an external overdraft it counts as a payday loan and the application had to go back in with just my husband on it

MA said 3 day turnaround but the application went in Monday according to her and still no word back

Fingers crossed it all works out ok for you, hopefully if they’ve got all your husbands info it shouldn’t be too long.
We had our valuation on Monday and MA received the report Tuesday, he rang me Friday to say he’s hoping we’ll get verbal offer Monday. Still not holding my breath!
Keep me updated.
The wait is unbearable.

Mortgage declined, need to close my SafetyNet account and try again in 2 months

I’m so sorry to hear that Hannah, try and keep positive, you will get there.
When we got declined 6 month ago from Precise I was so upset and then my husband a few weeks later said “I’m glad we didn’t buy that house!” I could have strangled him!
I was told Friday I would hopefully hear today but just got a call from MA to say they are behind with final checks so won’t know for a couple of days, he seems positive but he’s still telling me to hold off paying for searches until we know for definite so I’m still not holding my breath.
