Few years back bought some bissell advanced from home bargains. Now I can’t even find vax in the supermarkets. What’s going on?

TBH, I think that most of it is at my house. Found loads of it at the back of the "under sink" cupboard when we moved house earlier this month . . .

Sorry, couldn't resist. I haven't looked for carpet cleaner in the shops for ages and have only seen it on the "Rug Doctor" stand in supermarkets.

ETA: I also now have a bathroom full of toilet cleaner. I could never find any until we moved.house then it all magically appeared.

I’m wondering if there was a conflict of interests between the rug doctor company and the supermarkets selling rival machine liquid.

Seems only Sainsbury’s then. Shame nearest one to me is 15 miles away.

I saw some "carpet cleaning machine" liquid last week, sure it was in Home Bargains.

It's in the DIY sheds.

However wanting some the other week I went there are purchased the big rug doctor one anyway.


Which is a pain as you have to que and then tell the monkey on the till what you want and then also tell them no you don't want to rent one as they assume you do and paperwork fills them with dredd!


Hoqwever it is the best stuff on all the rounds ups (for any machine! they all do the same thing!), and also the cheapest if you buy the big one.
