Panel temperature

I’d often wondered what sort of temperature my panels reached on a hot day. I’ve just taken a reading while I was cleaning the gutters out....drumroll......83C.

    What colour is the car?

I've noticed there is a huge difference between stroking a black dog v's a light coloured one, and our white cat with large black splodges feels cool - hot - cool to the hand as you stroke him outside.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

MY car is tanzanite which is a dark navy blue...not too dissimilar to the tone of the panels

I wouldn't want to be a pigeon nesting underneath them!:D
