I’d often wondered what sort of temperature my panels reached on a hot day. I’ve just taken a reading while I was cleaning the gutters out....drumroll......83C.
4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North Lincs
Installed June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400
Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh

83°C should translate to a 29% drop in performance (83-25 x 0.5).

What colour is the car?
I've noticed there is a huge difference between stroking a black dog v's a light coloured one, and our white cat with large black splodges feels cool - hot - cool to the hand as you stroke him outside.Mart. Cardiff. 5.58 kWp PV systems (3.58 ESE & 2.0 WNW)
