Equity Release - Options

Are there any other firms than those seen on the high street offering Equity Release ?

Although we have multiple pensions happily providing us a level of enjoyment/living.

We are in our early 70's and own our home.

We wish to make small payments to our children now and enjoy a luxury overseas holiday while we still can.

Any advice of how to approach about Equity Release or any other options, or are they all too greedy for what they offer/provide.

Whats the goal? How much do you want to take out and why do you feel they are greedy?

If we know what you don't like about what you have found, maybe someone can show you a different way of doing it

Talk to a specialist mortgage advisor. Most of the companies providing Equity Release wont be found on the High Street.

Currently thinking of approx 10/15% of property value.

I think as you say to speak to a specialist adviser, as I did when sorting my pensions with a adviser onto a specialist pension provider.
