Need student loan but have poor credit rating
Hi, slightly complicated scenario. I’m am starting my diploma at Warwick University in September. It’s a part time course while the practical aspect is undertaken at my place of work . I’m taking a lesser wage as my job role is changing to a trainee until I’m qualified. My main question is I will need a student loan , however I have very poor credit rating . My company are paying for the course , hotel whilst I’m away etc but for the 12 months I will need to have extra to pay household bills , petrol etc . I live with my husband but we are currently estranged but living together for the sake of our child . Eventually I will be earning more than double of my present salary and be in a much better situation . I just feel like I will need some financial support , anybody know where I can go for this ? Please much appreciated . I was thinking the government student loan service but I’m guessing they will take into account my husbands salary which I have nothing to do with . I still have my own bills to pay .

If you are still living together the SLC will probably take his income into account, the only way to find out is to contact ASAP as its September next week0
