Ladies shoe repairs

I'm not sure if this is the correct board for this, but please move if not.

I'm just wondering what the average price charged for ladies shoes to be re-heeled is. I was charged £7 for a smallish heel approx 19mm x 13mm. Didn't expect it to be quite so much. I used to use a relative of this shoe mender who has now moved away & I'm pretty sure he never charged quite as much as this.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I can confirm it's about £5-10 to replace heels. Had a small one (High heel shoe) done 3 months ago and got charged a fiver.

Thanks, around £5 was what I expected to pay as boots with a chunky heel cost me £7. I know chain places such as Timpsons can be pricey & small independents, which I prefer to use, often much cheaper.
