If you or your broker have placed your application correctly, there's no point in getting stressed at this stage.

Save your stress for when real disaster strikes.

Broker submitted full application on Friday

    Oh my days what disaster?!
  • If you are the kent reliance application then you are in for a bit of a wait. I would predict a minimum of 3 weeks for an offer and that is if there are no issues.
They are currently on 5 working days so don't expect to get an update until mon next week at the earliest.

Nothing you can do but stop panicking and get on with your day. You have a broker whose job it is to sort this out for you. There is nothing you can do at this stage so try to stop worrying so much.

Thanks!! Yeah i know, i just want to have the offer sorted
3 weeks!!? Have you submitted recently and it has taken that long?
God i will have white hair at this rate!
  • Yes kent will be about 3 weeks for an offer. They don't tend to do valuations until after initial underwrite. Then the survey has to be instructed and booked in. 5 working days after the val comes back you should get your offer as long as all ok.

There is nothing you or your broker can do to expediate the process apart from ensuring the case has been packaged correctly (broker)

You are on day 1 of 21 at the earliest. Expect an update next Monday but until then just put it to the back of your mind. There is nothing you can do but wait

It is so hard to not think about it!

The Broker said she has declared everything and as it has been accepted at DIP and they are so thorough, she cannot see any issues

Our credit files are perfect apart from my Arrangement to Pay which she says they are okay about as they understand people have blips in life occasionally

I guess i just want to pre-empt any issues so we can sort them and be prepared

Thanks and sorry i am new to all of this and don’t understand the process at all
