Can I get a mortage with no health insurance?

Looking to get a mortgage but my partner has a very rare illness which prevents her from getting any health or life insurance, which I can only imagine means it would be the same for taking out insurance when applying for a mortgage?
Though I would hate the thought of having a mortgage with no insurance, could we still get one? She is currently under investigation but this could take years to resolve. She has never had a day sick off in her life ( no exaggeration) and works through the pain but she does have a condition were only a handful of cases have ever been reported worldwide.
Thanks

Yes you can.
Life or sickness insurance, although advisable if available, are not required to obtain lending.I am a Mortgage Broker

You could always get insurance just for yourself and review options for your partner once all tests are concluded and you have a confirmed diagnosis.
Means your partner would not need to worry if anything happened to you, but you wouldn't have the same comfort if your partner wasn't able to get insurance; Perhaps look at saving up 6 - 12 months of outgoings/bills/mortgage to tide you over.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0
