Hollywood Bowl

Whilst booking a bowling session online a couple of days ago, I was called away from the computer.
When I returned a few minutes later a sign was flashing " Due to high demand costs have increased. "
Classy. The old supply and demand syndrome.
On a lighter note, I promised to take the grandchildren bowling some months back.
Booking online for a party of 5, 3 games each, I was somewhat nonplussed to see the total cost came to £90!
I phoned the bowling alley in disbelief, and they reduced the price to £75.
A promise is a promise so I bit the bullet and booked.
We thoroughly enjoyed our outing.
A few days later I received an email requesting that I reviewed our bowling experience in return for a 50% discount voucher off our next visit.
It only took a few minutes and I sent off the reply.
I received the discount voucher a couple of days later, and it was valid for 14 days.
If I was aware of the available discounts prior to my initial booking costing £75, I would have previously booked one game for myself knowing that the questionnaire/discount voucher would considerably reduce the £75 initial payment.
On the deals offered, for reasons only known to themselves, you can book 2 games each for a family of 5 at a discounted rate, but if you want to book 3 games each the 3rd game is charged as if you were only playing 1 game.
The bowl/complete questionnaire/receive discount voucher is a recurring offer.
