My landlord has given me my deposit back and said everything was fine then one day comes nocking my door saying I owe money for water rates he admitted that he didn't put it in our name and no he is trying to take me to court as I have refused to pay as he admitted fault please if anyone has suggestions please spare them as he filing for small claims

How long where you in the property.
Wouldn't it be your responsibility to let all the utilities know you had moved in. Did you pay council tax, electric, water and gas?0 -
