New to this... what is CR pay?

Hello! I'm new at this place where I work and I was wondering what CR means? "COMPANY Name CR Pay 841.00" appeared on my statement and I want someone to help me better understand what this means. I thought I would be recieving more from my employer, but unfortunately this is what I woke up to.

CR could mean credit? ie no deductions.

As for receiving less money have a look to see if you’ve been placed on the emergency tax code?


Or your employer has certain cut off dates for pay role to authorise your wages. My place of work is 15th, so if my time sheets were not updated until 16th then I wouldn’t be getting paid that month.

Have you asked your employer why the amount is less than you thought it would be?
