Paying off

Hi there,

How do you pay your mortgage off in full?

We’ve got a new contract in our business that allows us to.

We have 20 years remaining as it stands.

Ask your mortgage company for a settlement figure for the mortgage, be aware there may be early redemption fees and other fees too.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Our deal is due to end in October. Is it worth waiting until we are on SVR?

Ring them and ask what your ERC is etc. It may be that you can overpay 10% of the remaining owed now, penalty free (unless you've been overpaying already this year) and then clear it once your deal expires.

    Congratulations!
  • We have already repaid the amounts allowed
    Without incurring a penalty.
