Giant Bow?

Hi all

My step son (age 15 yrs) is giving his girlfriend a giant teddy for Christmas. Awww :heart2: It is now boxed but he would like some wide ribbon and matching giant bow to go on the top of the box.

It has to be in red. Does anyone know where i can find them? I have looked on Ebay but couldnt find any but i might not been looking in the right place!

The bow needs to be about the size of a large side plate (7 - 10 inches diameter)with the ribbon about 4 inches wide.

I would make one but i havent a clue how to go about it! :eek:

I was going to pop in to my local one tomorrow see if they can make one. Juts wondered if anyone knew any where online to buy one that size as a back up just incase. :T

I've seen these on ebay whilst looking for pull bows for hampers, they might be suitable:

Large pull bows and ribbon (intended for wedding car) and here's another , and another

Go to your florist. They will make you one there and then and it will be about the same price as buying online, plus a lot less hassle.

Pull bows are ok, but if it is a huge box, it won't look right as they are 'tall' (so it will stick out from the box). A florist made bow will be flatter and will look better on a large box.
