Hi
I went BR in May 06 - I'm in an IPA with a company that the OR chose. I'm in this IPA for 3 years. Going by the normal 1 year rule I should have been discharged in May 07 and I've done a search on myself on the insolvency website and my details show me as being discharged from May 07 but I have never had any letter or notification from the OR or this insolvency practionor company to say I am discharged. Am I not properly discharged then until i finish this IPA? or did they just not send the letter?
is there a time limit to getting this certificate of discharge from your time of discharge?

They don't always send a letter - as in your case, sometimes the first people realise that they've been discharged is when they see it in the Insolvency Register. You can ask your OR to send you a letter confirming your discharge date. That letter is free of charge. However, if you want an actual certificate confirming your discharge, it'll cost you £60.BSC #53 - "Never mistake activity for achievement."
