  • If I’m not mistaken (unless they’ve removed it recently) Bauer not only ban people from the same household but also any family members at another address too.

That's generally in the specific terms for the radio comps

Some of the specific terms go even further and ban family relations regardless of where they live in addition to everyone at the same address as the winner
In addition to previous winners, family relations of, or those living at the same residential address as, previous winners of this contest are ineligible to enter.
  • How do you know if you have been banned - Ive entered for years and never won - think Im just unlucky!

I've not heard of a general ban on an individual as such by Bauer; the thread is more to do with a Winner of a prize over £500 being banned from winning another large prize for 6 months and that ban also includes others in the same household. After 6 months the Winner and anyone else in the household can attempt to win again.

However the odds against winning are pretty large and you could enter for many years without success. Recently a number of folk from MSE have been successful, due in part to the daily prizes from the radio stations, but it's just down to luck.

Bit in bold is wrong. It's per household i.e. all people living in the same house as a winner cannot enter for 6 months.
    Thank you all who post.

As already stated the original post you quote is correct and in addition to everyone at the address - relatives are barred regardless of address where the specific terms say so (radio ones certainly, haven't noticed others)
