Bw legal help

Hi I’m not sure if this is the correct forum, I wrote a post a few weeks ago regarding a letter of claim I received from Bw legal. It’s the first correspondence I’ve had from this company and also regarding a loan I’ve apparently got from a company ‘the money shop’ just under 6 years ago, I’m 95% sure this is not my loan, I sent a reply to BW legal asking for proof of this loan and sent it recorded delivery within the 28 days stated and they have ignored my request and now I have a county court letter with even more money added to the supposed debt and I’m really annoyed they have just ignored me and gone down this route and would like some help what to do next, I only have 14 days to reply to this court letter.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Hi. You can file a defence for this online, there should be a box for 'this isn't mine', or an option to write a statement. Just say that you dispute the debt, you don't believe that it belongs to you, and that your request for documents regarding ownership sent on XY date have been ignored by the plaintiff. Do make sure you file a defence as the courts will automatically grant a judgement in their favour if you don't.0
