I don't understand how people are getting so many PDE's.
I've played every day and used all the tactics everyone else is, and only get the daily clue and one hummingbird a day when browsing.
I have won 20p and have 16 PDE's.

I'm guessing the 430 PDEs is from sharing them on Facebook and Twitter too which would effectively times the hummingbird by 10 or 11. So presumably they've found approx 40 PDE hummingbirds (not 430), which sounds about right as I've found 41; no consolation if you've just got 16 but not quite so dramatic a difference. Either that or they have found 430 hummingbirds, in which case I'm seriously slacking!

I have got 376 entries, which is 5 from sharing the comp on FB, 5 for sharing it on Twitter, then the remaining 366, every time I find a bird I get 6 entries as I press the Tweet button (never actually post it to Twitter but just hitting the button and then closing the Twitter box, still gets me the 6 entries). So 366/6 = 61 birds found in total.

I had about 130 entries and one of each prize category (except an apple), before I realised that my DD had logged in on my laptop and not logged out again. So all those entries were hers.
Now in my own log in I have 430 PDE's and am 1 away from all prizes except buses. Not even trying very hard, missed out on Tuesday all day as Virgin Media was down.
