  • Is £5 too much??

On play.com there are a lot of DVDs for a fiver (or less) and you'll probably fine something that suits that is "classic" rather than new. Depending on age (and parents!) they were selling Monty Python and the Holy Grail at £5 and that would probably have most teens rolling about. For a younger tenn, fantactic four is only £5 too.

There are also some £5 t shirts on play that might be good.

No £5 is fine, i was thinking of spending around £20.

DVD's are a good idea though, im just so used to buying for a 5 year old,

Why not get a gift card from either HMV or Game? Both my teen boys would love to have this. It is loaded at the store with however much you choose to put on it.

For my nephew I bought one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wristband-Flash-Memory-Drive-Black/dp/B000WAV4UI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1195840917&sr=1-1 I'm told by my boys that it will be good for saving homework on.
I think £20 is very generous of you, what a thoughful person you must be.

Those are great little stocking filler ideas. I even want one.

I don't even think you would have to go up to £20. £15 would maybe be enough to get a good present.

Vouchers would be good as then they can buy their own (provided you get vouchers somewhere they shop) but then people know how much you spent. Some thought and good shopping you could get something cheaper that looks more expensive or better.

    Try play
as they offer free delivery and have a whole range of things from gadgets to cds and dvds.

The teenage boys at school all enjoy the 'Guiness Book of Records' - the girls have no idea why!

If he has a PAYG mobile and you know which provider he uses then a top-up card always goes down well with my boys (and girl)!

How about the '20 Questions' toy thing? Sainsburys are selling them for just £5 at the moment (half price on all toys till 27th).
