SH77 Accountability Diary

Hiya :j

Figured I needed my own lil anonymous space to ramble on about what I have going on financially to try and get it all straight in my head, make sure we are doing our best to make our money work well for us and stay accountable. Although this is the MFW board I didn't feel my thread fitted in the DFW board as we are ultimately looking to be in a position to own our own smallholding out right. The loans are half invested in a commercial property and half in our land (no house on land - stables only). Our goal is either to have enough equity to be able to sell our assets and purchase a small holding that we can live in outright or to be able to build on our existing land however we are having hiccups with planning on that option atm.

Thanks for reading  Please do say hi and give me any feedback :j

  • Thank you for the comments. House move happening this week and I am super excited but remarkably chilled about the move itself which is a strange feeling. I think because I have done it so many times before it's no biggie maybe

I managed a NSD yesterday and am planning to have another tomorrow (Monday). I am going to do a store cupboard checklist and try and meal plan from that so that I use up as much as possible before the move. Our chickens are rapid firing eggs out at the moment so I imaging a lot of our meals will be egg based!!

We need to decide on whether we are doing the whole joint account thing or whether we are going to be each responsible for paying certain bills. I think it will probably be the latter. We have scheduled FHC (Financial Health Check) mornings in to our calendar but haven't been sticking to them for the past few months. We definitely need to have one tomorrow to make sure we are both on the same page and know what is where though so that will either be today or tomorrow. OH is a total legend and I am super excited about building our future together
