Are you new to opera or have you always wondered how staging opera works?
Join the full orchestra of Scottish Opera, singers, technical crew and a special presenter for a different perspective on a selection of key scenes from the season’s productions, revealing some of the trade secrets of staging large-scale opera. This might include how to stage a realistic fight scene or why a scene has been lit in a particular way. You may even have the rare opportunity to see what happens during a scene change.
Unwraps are suitable for all the family and perfect for anyone fascinated by what happens behind the scenes!
Unwraps are FREE but ticketed – please contact the box office on 0131 529 6000 to book. All Unwraps are held at the Festival Theatre 6.00pm - 7.00pm.
