Will try a one hour test later this week, check to see if diverter is working at night, and I will also turn off the immersion for next 2 weeks and see what the difference is. Thank you for all these suggestions.0

However if the output was incorrectly wired on the downstream (grid) side of the electricity meter then it would be indistinguishable from the electricity supplied by the grid and would be recorded as mains usage by the electricity meter. But the test run by the OP indicates that's not what is happening here.Reed0 -
