To be eligible for a DRO, you must:
- live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland
- owe less than £20,000
- have less than £1,000 in assets (and a car worth no more than £1,000)
- have less than £50 in surplus income per month after paying your household bills and living costs
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

Thank you!
I will question them about a DRO on monday to try and move forward with that instead as im sure I could ask someone to help me with the £90 fee. According to my income and expenditure i did with step change I have the same going out as I do coming in. For anything extra I tend to ask my little ones dad and he'll generally help me out, so that means id qualify for a dro wouldnt it as its under £50? I wonder why it didnt come up with them before...0 -

Second one for a DRO. Seems a lot of people being directed to bankruptcy or an IVA where a DRO may be better. Wonder why that is?Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.
