It is unnecessarily. I'm sure you're perfectly capable of writing a letter and putting it in the post box.

The FOS is not a mail redirection service.

You can use any channel that the companies accept. Check their website for details of how to make a complaint.

i understand that but 60 days after i sent a complaint 3 weeks ago adds to 81 days in total!

That is ridiculous. FOS say 8 weeks is the max

They say that 8 weeks is ideally the max. PPI departments are a little busy at the moment, so delays are to be expected.

There's nothing to be gained by slowing down the process further by involving FOS at this stage.

I suspect they mean "60 days from the receipt of your complaint" not "60 days from us sending this email."
