got a CCJ but never got anything through...how

to clear my partner's name? I had a car (my partner's) which i sent through as not being used and filled out a SWORN document. the next thing i knew when i last looked at my partner's credit file was that he had a ccj . i never received any letter saying about a court hearing or anything (not the first time either!!!! nor my partner). i am now worried it will affect his credit rating. what do you suggest we do to get this removed? thanks in advance

If your partner rings the Court they're usually very helpful. You'll probably be advised to make an application to set the CCJ aside
