What do you think?

We have heard back from Aldermore and they would like us to cancel our childcare vouchers and prove this through wages slip ideally. I have managed to get a copy of my August wageslip without childcare attached while my husbands employer has said he has missed the cut off point although will write a letter on headed paper to say from September childcare vouchers won’t be included. Do you think this will be acceptable? We have a date to move in as 5th September although if they want a wage slip this won’t be until 25th September so hoping the lender accepts the headed letter what do you think?

How can you have a move in date of the 5th of September if youdo not even have a Mortgage offer?

Have you/your broker asked whether Aldermore will accept a letter?

We have a provisional date of the 5th from the builder which our broker and solicitor are aware of although realise this is flexible. We are asking for the letter to be sent onto the lender once we receive it and are hopeful this will be acceptable

Don’t surprised if Aldermore say they want to not see the wage slip without the Childcare Care, and also the Bank Statement showing the higher net income being paid.

Make sure your Broker has checked that the Bank Statement will not be a further requirement.

They already have our bank statements, I was hopeful they would accept letter from employer as it was confirming the cancellation of the vouchers and they would have my wage slip evidencing the childcare vouchers not being there

Rather than wait for the letter you or ideally your broker should be asking the questions. You could have your answer tomorrow even if it is not the official answer or you can sit back wait and worry about it.

There is no point sending in a letter if it will be of no use.

I am saying that where they rely on a change in net income to progress a case (pay rise or drop in deductions) they will often ask to see a Bank Statement reflecting the change. (i.e.not the Bank Statements they currently hold)
