What to do whilst saving BR Fees

Hi
Apologies if this is covered somewhere but I couldn't see at a glance.
I am currently on the process of applying for BR. I am working towards saving the fees as I don't believe I am eligible for any support for this currently.
I have some Council Tax arrears which I am having tough negotiations with Bristow and Suitor over. They have previously declined my offers of repayment(prior to my deciding to apply for BR). I also have current debts with my energy supplier which ultimately will be included in my BR application. With my other unsecured debt my total debt is around 50k I am currently paying anything to most of this debt.
My question is really concerning the utility and CT arrears. Its going to take me approximately 3-4 months to get the money for both my wife and I to apply for BR. What if anything should I offer to pay towards these debts in the interim? They are both chasing quite hard over these outstanding debts. I don't want to be seen to show preferential treatment to either creditor.
Thanks in advance

Maybe tell them you're applying for bankruptcy? Or threaten them for harassment. CT arrears are included in bankruptcy like any others so they ain't gettin it!
However... have you had a liability order made by the council against you? Apparently they are enforceable even after bankruptcy, although this is rare (and enforceable by bailiffs only - so household goods and cars, not money).0
