Aldermore valuation today...

So Aldermore Instructed Valuation for today Tuesday 13th August (hoping all goes well)

My nerves can't take it anymore. How long do you reckon until we hear anything ?

Also with aldermore we got free valuation and our broker said they have everything they have asked for since last week now

The thing is they wouldn't send somebody out for valuation if they weren't at least thinking of approving us would they especially when we aren't paying for it?

Please calm my nerves guys 😂😬

Aldermore are usually pretty quick on turning cases round once the valuation is back. A lot will depend on who the valuation has been panelled out to. IIRC they expect a 48 hour turnaround on valuations.
You have used a broker, I would strongly suggest that you go back to him to gain some peace of mind!
I always keep my clients fully in the loop...buying a house is always stressful!

It is a good sign, although how did you get it free? I had to pay £480 for the pleasure!

Aldermore instrued e.surv Chartered Surveyors to do my valuation, and I got the report back from my broker the same day. It then took approx 10 working days before I got the offer, however this was because they had a backlog.

I have emailed my broker and he just knows the instructed so I rang the guy who sold us the new build who then told us they were booked to come today but no shows at 11am still (said he will keep in touch)

Yes it is very stressful it's our first time and we are lucky to have got this far to be fair guys

And yes it was with e.serv also as they rung me by mistake last Thursday instead of the company we are buying from haha 😂

Please post when you know and receive your offer as we are in exactly the same position with Aldermore. Our valuation is booked for Thursday!

So the valuation got done yesterday and we got a phone call from the broker saying they were happy with all the info he had sent over RE bank statements etc and they are just waiting for valuation to come back

I'm guessing everything will go to the underwriter now then ? Or will that have been done.

So our valuation was done on Tuesday and aldermore recieved their stuff from surveyors yesterday. Our broker rang aldermore yesterday and they said they had recieved it and that everything he had sent of ours wage slips etc etc were all good so now it's just a waiting game.

Broker is hoping for an offer by end of week he said.

Also recieved something from solicitors 22page questionnaire today so going to get that done and sent off also.
