Action at end of OVO 2 year deal?

Hi

I moved my electricity and gas to OVO on the MSE 2 year deal in March 2018.

I've just had the OVO email saying the contract is ending and what would I like to do now.

Interestingly the attached PDF only discusses new electricity plans with no mention of gas tariffs?

Anyway, may I ask what other folks who moved to OVO are going to do now, please?

TIA

Vigman

Moved March 2018 on 2 year deal and it is ending now??

I moved late Sept 2017 to the OVO 2 year deal thro' MSE. I would like to stay with OVO but they are a lot more expensive. I think I will wait until nearer the time the tariff ends and see what's available.

They have said I joined March 2018 which makes no sense reading it back! It was obviously Autumn 2016!!

I have queried why they only discuss renewing electricity with no mention of my gas account??

My OVO 2 year fixed deal ends September 26th, I joined on the MSE Big switch, all the deals available now are more expensive, which is fair enough as it's prices from 2 years ago, but all the cheapest deals are from companies with no reviews and are not fixed.

The last 2 switches I have used the MSE big switch with their mass negotiated tariff, I am guessing allot of people are coming to the end of the same deal who did a big switch with MSE 2 years ago.

Are MSE planning another big switch? as I would rather wait for that, than sign up to a new deal and then see a better big switch tarrif in the next few weeks.

    Thanks.

Nothing showing on the MSE CEC today.

Butr thanks to Gerry1, it seems we can stay on the current tariff until we switch, so hopefully MSE will be offering a collective soon.

Not sure it'll be very cheap though. MSE deals have not been cheap for quite some time now, but we are holding fire until something, anything, comes along that is as chaep as the Ovo deal.

Looks like the advice from Gerry1 was a load of bunkum :(

You have to be so careful with some of the advice given by some people here, even those who have been a member for years.

Thanks to brewerdave for the helpful clarification :)

We'll be switching today in line with the MSE CEC alert received.
