Is there a 'start date' for the first para of your reply...ie from 1976 ? Does the uk contribs automatically get added to the french system or does she need to tell them ? very useful this,thank you... I will get to work on Google and learn more...0

When you claim your pension you do it in the country where you are living & you tell the pension service that you previously worked in another EU country. They then send you a form that you return to them which gets forwarded on to the pension service in the other EU country who will send an E205 form back to the pension service that you claimed from detailing your record of contributions that will get added as qualifying years. The claimant is then contacted by the pension service in the other country & they then continue providing details for the claim direct to the overseas pension service e.g. bank details, proof of life certificate etc0
