Portugal and Pensions

A friend is considering moving to Portugal in retirement he tells me that they encourage people to do so at the moment by offering low tax on pensions. Anyone know more about this??

If you have legal residence in one Schengen country the bare minimum freedom of movement you will have post-Brexit as a UK citizen will be visa-free travel for 90 days out of a rolling 180 days throughout the rest of Schengen area.
