I have a mortgage broker who says everything will be fine...
However I'm starting to doubt it myself.
Affordability is pushed to the limit, I'm going on ML in less than 3 months, and we have some debts (that will be paid off before completion).
I also have a late payment on my CC but not my fault so HSBC will rectify and hopefully provide a letter explaining this.
Partner is not on the electoral roll at our address but his ex-marital home. This has been rectified this weekend.
LTV will be anything from 15-20%

Do you really want the stress of moving house in the next few months? Why not wait until next spring.0

We don't want to pay the extra £££ of rent so the sooner the better! Plus our landlord has been funny since we announced we wanted to move. he refused to change us to a rolling contract and I have a hunch they might not renew the contract (which will only be given on a 6 month basis).
Depending on the mortgage we'll be saving £2k over 6 months.
i moved about a month before giving birth with my first and it wasn't as bad!0 -

Unrelated to the mortgage application but you should be aware your landlord cannot refuse to move you to a rolling contract. When your fixed term comes to an end you will automatically move onto a periodic tenancy regardless of whether you sign anything.0 -
Thank you. I'll ask the EA as last time instead of giving us a rolling contract, just gave us 6 extra months.
It has been implied that they only work on 6 months contracts and nothing else.0 -

What I meant was you don’t have to ask at all, this will automatically happen at the end of your fixed term. Personally in your situation I would not mention anything and if you hear nothing from them you will just move onto a periodic tenancy. Whatever they try to say the agent/landlord cannot prevent this happening. Their only option is to serve you notice to quit (see links below).
I think agents like to imply you have to renew as they get their renewal fee each time (thankfully not for much longer!).
You might want to have a read of this link on ending/renewing tenancies
